ABOUT US
United Women Singapore is a non-profit organisation that aims to advance and drive gender equality and women’s empowerment, and build a pipeline of women leaders and influencers in Singapore and the region.
We work towards narrowing the gender equality gap through our Girls2Pioneers (G2P) programme in Singapore which encourages girls aged 10-16 years to take up Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects in their higher education and careers, thereby paving the way for a more gender equal society. The programme reaches out to 4,500 girls each year.
Our annual Gender Equality Impact Awards recognises individuals and organisations who are active promoters of gender equality in the workplace and in their community.
#UWSInspires is a campaign to highlight successful women in STEM and outstanding women entrepreneurs in Singapore, to support these women and inspire the next generation.
