A first of its kind in Singapore, the inaugural United Women Singapore (UWS) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Festival will showcase activities and talks with professionals in the industry. The aim of the Festival is to inspire young women to showcase the potential of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields in shaping our future.
The UWS STEM Fest, a part of the UWS’ Girls2Pioneers STEM Programme, will take place on 29 October at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre and will feature an exciting lineup of activities, including interactive booths to explore the latest innovations being pioneered by cutting-edge STEM organisations such as Porsche, Okta, NUS, DBS, Micron, among others.
United Women Singapore is a local non-profit organisation that advances women’s empowerment and gender equality. The organisation works towards narrowing the gender equality gap through education and raising awareness and advocacy on issues of anti-violence and women’s empowerment, with the support of partners from the public and private sectors.
