The Dialogue with Diplomats series is a one-of-a-kind series that features women heads of the diplomatic community serving in Singapore. The series aims to highlight these women in leadership as role models to inspire young women to help broaden their horizons and fuel their aspirations to rise to leadership roles in fields of their choosing.
In the first event of the series, we had the pleasure of hosting Her Excellency Lynn McDonald, Canada High Commissioner to Singapore and Her Excellency Jo Tyndall, New Zealand High Commissioner to Singapore.
The second session of our Dialogue with Diplomats series, featured the British High Commissioner to Singapore, H.E. Kara Owen CMG CVO, addressing the problem of violence against women, in addtion to touching upon women in leadership, supporting women in male-dominated fields and more such topical issues.
United Women Singapore is a local non-profit organisation that advances women’s empowerment and gender equality.
