A Canvas For Her is an art fundraising event in support of United Women Singapore (UWS), a local non-profit organisation that focuses on women’s empowerment and gender equality in Singapore.
We are honoured to collaborate with talented artists namely Lim Tze Peng, Goh Yau Kee, Lee Hock Moh, Teo Chin Keong, Ng Yak Whee, Shi Da Chan, Tay Bak Chiang, Liu Xuan Qi, Zhang Hua and Jin Lu for this fundraiser.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all 10 artists for the generous donation of their artworks. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support our local efforts to move the needle on gender equality and prevent gender-based violence in the community while creating effective and collective change in Singapore.
Funds raised will support:
-Girls2Pioneers Programme encourages young girls to take up STEM subjects in their higher education and careers, thereby paving the way for a more gender equal society.
-GenSafe Workplaces aims to help organisations spot the signs of domestic violence in employees who are suffering in silence and ensure a safe and supportive workplace environment.
-UWS Boys Empowered engages boys to be empowered individuals who will model strength without violence and be proactive bystanders with the skills to prevent situations of violence in our community.

United Women Singapore is a local non-profit organisation that advances women’s empowerment and gender equality. The organisation works towards narrowing the gender equality gap through education and raising awareness and advocacy on issues of anti-violence and women’s empowerment, with the support of partners from the public and private sectors.
