Distinguished Speaker Series 2020

The Distinguished Speaker Series is a one-of-a-kind series that features global business leaders, knowledge leaders and influencers sharing their insights and thoughts on various topics such as leadership, resilience, diversity and inclusion, wellness and self-care, with a focus on women’s empowerment and gender equality. In the first virtual DSS, we had the pleasure of hosting Arianna Huffington, co-founder of The Huffington Post, the founder and CEO of Thrive Global, in a fireside chat with Haslinda Amin, chief international correspondent (SEA) with Bloomberg. Ms.Huffington talked about the importance of building resilience, leadership in the new normal and her own personal experience that have shaped her success.

This was followed by a short workshop/training on resilience by Joey Hubbard of Thrive Global. In this session, you will acquire tools to help you manage stress and strengthen your mental resilience, moving from awareness to action with science-backed Microsteps. The event was proudly supported by Goldman Sachs MasterCard and Bloomberg. This event is proudly supported by Goldman SachsMastercard and Bloomberg.
