United Women Singapore welcomes individuals, corporates and organisations who are keen to join us to advocate and fundraise to support women’s empowerment, gender equality and build the pipeline of future women leaders.
If you are currently a student and interested to fundraise for us, we would love to hear from you. Activities may include a creative writing competition, Trivia night, bingo, silent art auction, a silent auction followed by an assembly talk and a booth to share information on gender equality.
Corporates who are keen to support our work are welcome to make monetary donations and/or donate pre-loved designer wear and accessories to BuyToSave, our annual sustainable fashion fundraiser, BuyToSave.
Celebrate your birthdays and anniversaries by donating to UWS and support the cause!
Gather your office colleagues to do a donation drive – ask them to bring in their gently worn, previously loved designer clothes and accessories, and donate these to UWS for BuyToSave, our annual sustainable fashion fundraiser.
Start a pledge, get friends and family to support and pledge for you to meet your targets be it for a marathon, walkathon or more.
Check if your company offers to match donations. If yes, why not start a fundraising drive?
Friday Treats
Get together with a few like minded colleagues over coffee and treats. Consider arranging a topic of discussion on gender equality and donating to UWS at Friday Treats. If you would like someone from UWS to share the latest industry insights, we would be keen to collaborate.
Monthly Wine Tasting or Happy Hour with Corporates : Host a happy hour event and proceeds from the wine tasting go to UWS.
Trivia Night.
Host a Trivia Night fundraiser. For an entry fee, each department (or if it’s a school fundraiser) or a class can enter as a team for a trivia competition at a local restaurant or school hall. The teams can compete to win a donation to UWS.
